My boyfriend couldn't keep a promise to me, how should I deal with it?

Unless you've actually done something that would give her a legitimate reason to not like you, she has no real reason to not like you...except that she is a freak and is not willing to let go of her child. I can relate because at the age of 21 my mom tried to block my way out of her house because I wanted to live with my bf who later became my husband. The difference between me and your bf is that I don't put up with my mom controlling me. At some point you have to separate yourself from your parents. I don't know how old you are but it doesn't really matter if you guys are in high school or if you're adults. This guy needs to push away a little. I think you should talk to him and tell him how you really feel. If he can't handle it, he's probably not the type of guy you want. No one wants a momma's boy lol. He told you that he was going to take you, so he should. He can take both of you and if she doesn't like it, too bad. Stand up for what you want. Good luck...I hope you can change his mind...
