Are Republican's really against Big Government?

When reps say they are against big govt, they mean they are against social programs to help the poor and ordinary people live decent lives. They are against govt spending for welfare, for education, for health care, for mental health, the environment etc. They spend big on things like war, spying on american citizens, and keeping people like gays down. Clinton balanced the budget and reduced the deficit while improving programs for ordinary citizens and the environment.
