Do you find Facebook status updates to be pathetic and attention seeking?

Yeah sometimes they get really annoying like so and so is "missing him" or so and so is "done with you and will not put up with it anymore". I just get really tired of people posting their crap in their status. If you really want to talk to someone, then do it, but don't post it to all your friends on facebook!
