Is love worth losing your friend?

I love this kid, but he is a compulsive liar. I never know when to trust him, or when I should believe him. But when I do, he is a great guy. Funny, happy, silly, and just a nice guy. Me and my friend have been off and on with this kid, and its getting old. He needs to make up his mind between who he wants. I really REALLY miss this kid.. so much. He was my first true love, and I can't get over him. But my friend can't either. I don't want to hurt her if I were to go back out with him. Although, she has dated him a couple times after him and I broke up. I'm not saying its fair, but it's not betrayal. My friend has been there for me. So many times when I really needed her. But is she worth losing over this guy I can never forget?
