Boiler problem vaillant turbo max plus 828e?

basically the central heating comes on and off whenever it feels like it, even when the room stat is switched on, sometimes the central heating will kick in but shut down after a bit, looking at it i thought it could be a faulty c h thermistor, any helps guys btw i am gsr so no comments like call a professional
