Got two operating systems on my laptop? help erasing one?

i was restoring my laptop bec it had to much junk and first time i started the operating disk on from a new file called RECOVERY (C:) and i figured out it was the wrong place and then i formated the OS (D:) and ran operating system disk and ran it from OS (D:) everything is fine i just cant delete the old windows. everytime i turn my laptop on it say " run windows 7 and under it is windows 7 again". i want to delete the RECOVERY (C:) bec i never had it and it wastes space. when i try to format it it says i cant.. and when i try delete the files in it it doesnt let me? so help. and also im running on mini 10 and my screen reselution is small and it doesnt let me change it so any fix for tht?
