Thank you for admitting that you have no idea. Now let me enlighten you. The Illuminati were a group of intellectuals that got together in 1776 in Bavaria. Their purpose was to try and control what went on in the Bavarian government. They go out of control and were summarily disbanded in 1785. The "all seeing eye" is a symbol used by many cultures to represent God. It is NOT specifically a masonic symbol. The masons do not have anything to do with Rotary. I hope this helps
