Can I do anything to my criminal record of possession with intent to sell?

I was convicted at age 18 and now 19 with a son and wife. I had planned to join a military branch but with me making this mistake to try and make extra money to support my family I screwed myself over. I would like yo know if there is anything that can be done to help me? I know there isn't much, I had my eyes on a pardon but from what I heard it's hard and rare. Please be positive I am in a tough time about to graduate high school and trying to make a better life for myself and my family. I have made a positive change. The charge is a misdemeanor and my first time with the law interaction. Please any advice or way I can make it better for myself to support my family would be helpful
